Remington R-4100 Flex 360 Degree Titanium Rotary S Reviews
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Decent rotary shaver, January 29, 2010 By Dan (Redford, MI, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Remington R-4100 Flex 360 Degree Titanium Rotary S Overall I like this shaver. It trims good, is light weight and sells for a very reasonable price compared to others. The only problem I have with this shaver (and I consider it s fairly big one) is that its suppose it operate either corded or cordless. It works fine cordless but when the charge is getting low I plug the cord in and try to use the shaver but it still wants to run on the charge of the battery. This is something very important to consider so you don't have to worry about the shaver running low on charge.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Good Razor for Money, July 31, 2011 By This review is from: Remington R-4100 Flex 360 Degree Titanium Rotary S I have been shaving electric for almost 50 years. This is a very good razor for the money. The reason it won't run on the cord is because the charging system may in the cord not the razor. This may be an older but effective design,it must be charged to work. The cutting blades are as good as higher priced razors. Use a preshave and don't press razor against face, run razor slowly over face and rotate blades before each shave.
Once each week cup some slightly abrasive liquid in your hand, such as Autobody polish and run razor in it for several seconds to "sharpen" blades and rinse with hot water.
Good For A Cheap Razor, August 8, 2011 This review is from: Remington R-4100 Flex 360 Degree Titanium Rotary S I picked this up to replace another Remington razor that I had before. I found it's almost it's cheaper to just buy a cheap razor is to buy the new blades for an existing razor. This was the cheapest electric razor, of the type I like to use, that I was able to find.
There are some things I don't like about the razor, not the least of which is you can't wash it. The last Remington I had was washable and I really grew to enjoy that. I also don't like the power indicator. It doesn't give you a good indication of how much power is left on the razor. You're more or less left to your own devices to try and figure it out judging by how fast the rotors move. In practice it's not too hard to figure out when it needs a charge, but the first couple of times you may be surprised. If you take my approach, keep one razor back so that way you can shave still if your battery runs dead on this one.
For the most part I do like the razor though. It doesn't give the closest shave... Read more
