Great quality, beautiful, classy brush and stand!

While I can only compare it to the very low priced Van der Hagen boar brush I also own, I can say that without a doubt, I have no regrets on the purchase. It holds more water and lathers far more quickly than the boar brush and feels much better on the face. It's also just plain nice to look at on the counter.
Part of the reason I chose this brand of brush is my satisfaction with the EJ DE89 razor I use along with their sandalwood shaving cream. I have no doubt there are equally good brushes for similar prices but trying to figure out each manufacturer's level of grading badger hair got to be a bit much. EJ seemed fairly straight forward and described the grades on their site.
The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star review is that this review is being written by someone who's never used any other brushes save for the VdH. But I can... Read more
