This review is from: Braun 7000 series Syncro motor drive unit (Health and Beauty) My 8 year old shaver needed new battery's and was getting noisy so i purchased replacement cells and purchased this motor unit along with new cutter head assembly . My shaver works like new and is quiet . Total cost was less than $60 Vs around $200 for a new shaver . Once you find out how to disassemble the shaver the rebuild was a breeze . This review is from: Braun 7000 series Syncro motor drive unit (Health and Beauty) I replaced my Servo on my Braun 7526 electric razor because the two clips broke that pops off the shaver head, I did not realize that my Servo was wore plumb out until I replaced it, wow hums now like a brand new one and cuts like you wouldn't believe, I definitely highly recommend this for sure. This review is from: Braun 7000 series Syncro motor drive unit (Health and Beauty) The only possible negative aspect of this product is that it is all black. My shaver (the 7680) has metal sides on both the body and cutter mechanism, so it would have been nice if a matching replacement was available. But really, that's a minor quibble not related to the product pictured and being sold. With this replacement part I was able to salvage a $200 shaver for $30. It's a genuine Braun part that arrives in a factory-sealed Braun Service box, and it's great that someone is selling these replacement parts.
